Power House Brewing Co.’s Columbus Bar is a great brewery with a great restaurant and a great restaurant with a great brewery. Power House Brewing Co.’s Columbus Bar is a casual fine dinning, family friendly experience with an eclectic fare. Our fine hand crafted ales are featured along with guest beers from craft breweries the world over. The family dinning room provides a more private experience for our guests and welcomes families with children by providing a kid's menu and coloring books. Our guests receive full table service in a relaxing environment.
The Columbus Bar has been in operation since 1939 and has been a family restaurant since the 1960's. Many in the Columbus area recall good times growing up and going to the "CB." We are dedicated to this timeless tradition, but are inspired by new trends in modern cuisine. In short we take a modern approach to Home cooking.
Our menu consists of the Famous Columbus Tenderloin Sandwich and the Mile High Fish Sandwich, both Columbus Bar classics. We offer a Reuben that has been hailed by many of our guests from the east coast as authentic. We also offer some vegetarian selections such as a Black Bean Burger on a wheat bun with your choice of toppings and fries or chips. We have Entrees like pork chops, chicken dinners and of course fish and chips. We also offer lunch and dinner specials that are affordable and unique as well as appetizers ranging from spinach artichoke dip to nachos with all the fixings and beer battered mushrooms. We offer a fine selection of homemade soups (Yes soups made from scratch right here by our staff) served in bread bowls. Not only do we make our own soups, we make our own root beer and ice cream too along with our own craft beers!
We offer a wide range of beers covering many styles. Not only do we have great beers, but we have a full bar, serving fine wine, mixed drinks and our own dessert martinis.

Power House Brewing Co.'s Columbus Bar
is in the heart and business district of downtown Columbus, Indiana. This is an area undergoing some development to improve commerce, specifically culture and nightlife. The Old Columbus Bar has been remodeled and renovated, with a new state of the art kitchen and brand new restrooms. We have highlighted the historical aspects and features of the bar, specifically the antique neon sign out front and the inviting horseshoe bar modeled after a streetcar. Columbus Bar has been a part of the community for over sixty-nine years and we are proud to continue its tradition of excellence. The recently renovated Columbus Bar is more like an English Pub than a bar. It is a casual friendly place to eat and sample fine craft beers and mingle with the people of the community. Power House Brewing Co.'s Columbus Bar operates under the "corner pub" philosophy. We provide a quick, easy and delicious lunch to the busy professinals and executives from the various offices around downtown Columbus. At night we provide a place to unwind. The Columbus Bar is a place for families to have dinner or businessmen and women to meet away from the office.
